Path Of Exile: Different Classes Specializes In Different Aspects

Path of Exile is an essential ARPG in consoles. The game is terribly addictive and comes loaded with content along with excellent performance. The hundreds of possibilities in the creation of characters and styles place it as one of the best alternatives of the generation.

Path of Exile has three attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence and the game set all seven character classes around these attributes.

Strength confers raw brute power, and is represented on weapons by high base damage. Strength armor pieces grant physical damage reduction. Monsters aligned with Strength generally hit hard and take many blows to defeat.

Dexterity confers agility in combat, and is represented on weapons by faster attack speeds. Dexterity armor pieces grant the ability to evade enemy blows more often. Monsters aligned with Dexterity are nimble and difficult to hit, often attacking from a distance or with multiple weapons.

Intelligence confers knowledge of both arcane magic and deadly combat techniques. It is represented on weapons through improved critical strikes. Intelligence armor pieces grant the wearer a mystical energy shield which protects them from blows and can recharge when they are out of combat. Monsters aligned with intelligence are often weak spell-casters who can be dangerous if not immediately dealt with.

Duelisthybrid character class that excels at both Strength and Dexterity skills
The Duelist class specializes in attacking with classical weaponry. This class can be easily built to use any melee weapon configuration and bows. He fights with melee attacks and can also summon an AI minion to fight alongside him.

Templarhybrid character class that excels at both Strength and Intelligence
The Templar specializes in elemental damage and can utilize spells or attacks. He has access to most elemental spells and elemental melee attacks. Fires projectiles, including three balls of lightning at once and a chain lightning attack.

WitchIntelligence character class
The Witch specializes in spell casting and summoning minions. She’s a strong choice for any spell builds and the most iconic choice for a summoner/minion build. A female spellcaster with high intelligence.

RangerDexterity character class
The Ranger specializes in bows and one handed weapons offensively and evasion/dodge defensively. This class is recommended for beginners wanting to do a bow build. She uses a bow and is extremely dexterous, but can wield swords as well. Despite being a glass cannon, the ranger is my class of choice.

MarauderStrength character class
The Marauder is generally chosen for its high survivability and melee utility. Although its main skill tree nodes are for melee attacks, its high life and corresponding ascendancies make it possible to play more than melee builds efficiently. A melee fighter with tremendous strength.

Shadowhybrid character class that excels at both Dexterity and Intelligence
The Shadow is easily built for using pointy one handed weapons or spells or any type. This class can be used for nearly any critical strike build or chaos damage builds. A dexterous and intelligent fighter, he uses short-range weapons and traps during battle.

Scionhybrid character class that excels at Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence
The Scion is class without any true specialization. It is unlocked later in the game in Act 3, and thus not available to beginners. It’s not recommended for beginners anyways due to its lack of specialization and only being used for niche builds. She can develop into any character build thanks to Path of Exile’s skill system. This makes her an advanced character, and she must be unlocked later in the game.

Being A More Powerful Warrior And Discovering Path Of Exile’s Secrets

Path of Exile is a free-to-play fantasy Diablo-style RPG which allows players to engage in dungeon crawling, loot-gathering PvE adventures, or take each other on through PvP combat.

Path of Exile is an online action role playing game (ARPG) that is developed by Grinding Gear Games. It is completely free to play and is found on the Steam network. It was a game to rival the likes of other popular ARPGs of the time, and did so very well. Since its launch in 2013, the game has had multiple expansions and grown more than twice its player base.

Path of Exile is a game in which the player controls a singular character who is proficient at a set of skills. There are seven available classes to pick from, each of which has its pros and cons and allows you to play the game exactly as you’d like. There are no restrictions on the classes, meaning any class can yield any weapon and use any skill, the only difference is where in the skill tree they start.

Path of Exile has very unique gameplay. You start off with essentially nothing and you work your way through the campaign, either solo or with a party. As you progress, you will kill monsters and level up both your character and your skills. You will also find weapon from killing enemies or completing quests, which is how you progress. You will need to collect equipment and train your skills in order to defeat the bosses and continue to progress through the story. Whether you intend to play the game for the story or not, the story is most definitely present and tells a compelling story. There are a few games that have come out hoping to catch the success that Path of Exile did, and I can recommend them with confidence to anyone who enjoys Path of Exile.

The economy of the game is not the usual ARPG standard, because there is no gold. Instead of gold the economy is based around the items themselves, whether it be materials, scrolls, orbs etc. These items are essential to help players in the game with their gear and builds so there’s a barter/trade community to keep the economy interesting. It’s a good move because it’s a community builder that encourages interaction and grouping with others. It also keeps players playing because messing about with sockets, changing items properties and finding out what the stats are on your latest unique drop is what makes playing an ARPG fun.

Like most free-to-play games there are ways to add cosmetic items or boosts to your character by spending real money. However, “Path of Exile” never bombards you will excessive advertisements or annoying reminders. Honestly, I didn’t even realize I could access the store during the game until several hours playing. The focus is strictly on gameplay and that’s one of the reasons “Path of Exile” remains a must play “Diablo” clone.
